2008 Official Chicago Cruisers Ride and Event Schedule
Most of the rides planned for this year will leave from one of three different meeting points. A 'code' letter in parenthesis after the ride's date and time indicates where the ride will start. If there is no 'code' letter, the ride information will indicate where to meet or else a meeting point has not yet been determined.
You need to be at the meeting point before the scheduled time or you risk missing the ride because the times listed are leaving times (kick stands up).
The meeting point 'codes' are:
(D) = Denny's Restaurant at Route 20 and the Elgin-Ohare Expressway in Hanover Park, IL
(V) = BP Gas Station at Routes 12 & 120 in Volo, IL
(Y) = BP Gas Station at Routes 34 & 47 in Yorkville, IL

Monthly Meeting, CMA Bike Blessing and our first ride of the season to Lowden State Park.

Ride to the Jelly Belly factory in Pleasant Prairie, WI, for a tour, sampling and purchases.
Sunday April 20th @ 10:00 AM, (Y)
The Mokena Ride and lunch at Mindy's BBQ restaurant.
Sunday April 27th @ 9:00 AM, (D)
The Rock River Ride
Sunday May 4th @ 9:00 AM, (D)
Monthly Meeting and a ride to Rock Cut State Park.
Sunday May 11th is Mothers Day. No Club Ride planned.

Ride to Starved Rock State Park
Memorial Day Weekend Trip, Sat. May 24th - Mon. May 26th.
Ride great roads in SE Ohio and visit the Motorcycle Hall of Fame Museum.
Sunday May 25th
Those not going to Ohio can use the forum for day ride planning.
Sunday June 1st @ 9:00 AM, (D)
Monthly Meeting followed by a ride to Clausen's Restaurant in Union, IL.
Saturday June 7th @ 7:00 AM
Depart BP Station, I-94 and WI 50 for a day trip to Road America for Bike Races.
Sunday June 8th @ 10:00 AM, (V)
Ride before lunch at the Brat Stop in WI.
Sunday June 15th is Fathers Day. No Club Ride is planned.
Saturday June 21st @ 7:00 AM, (D)
Ride to Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet for line-up and participation in the 6th Annual IL Motorcycle Freedom Run to Marseilles. Ceremony honoring Mid East Conflicts veterans, food, beverages, vendors and entertainment available until midnight.
Sunday June 22nd
No club ride planned. Use the forum for day ride planning.
Sunday June 29th, @ 9:00 AM, (D)
Ride to Waukegan harbor for hot dog lunch.
July 4th Weekend Trip, Fri. July 4th - Sun. July 6th
Ride the back roads in the Door County, WI area, tour lighthouses, shop and view fireworks. Stay in a local hotel or campground.
Sunday July 6th.

Ride to the Dickeyville Grotto, WI.

Monthly meeting and a ride to White Pines State Park.

The Kankakee River ride.

Ride to Savanna, IL and a visit to Poopy's.

A ride then food and fun at the DeKalb Corn Festival.
Labor Day Weekend Trip, Sat. Aug. 30th - Mon. Sept. 1st
Ride back roads outside Columbia, MO. Stay in a local hotel or camp at Paul Anderson's place.

Ride to W. Chicago for line-up and participation in the DuKane ABATE Food and Toy Run. Food, beverages and fun follow the ride.

Ride to Galena, IL.
